Project background
Smiley is a super app for media and content consumption, which puts a smile on your face through various forms of media and content. This app will be an effort in improving the mood of any person whether it be a kid or an adult, in successfully making them smile in the process so that they are gratified with a smile on their face while closing the app.
What makes it different from other apps is that it’s focused on satisfying people by improving their moods and making sure that they leave the app with a smile on their face.

Softwares Used
- Figma
- Adobe Photoshop
Process
The HCD process or the double diamond process is conducted first, by researching the users then defining the problems which helps us to ideate a solution which is then carried forward with a lo-fi prototype, then the prototype is iterated with the help of user surveys and interviews which then leads to the creation of a hi-fi prototype and then finally ends with testing the solution with real users.
User Research ➡ Problem Statement ➡ Ideation ➡ Lo-Fi Prototype ➡ Iterate ➡ Hi-Fi Prototype ➡ User Testing
Research
As humans grow older, they usually tend to forget to keep their smile up typically due to their life experiences leading them to live without a smile.
Finland was ranked the happiest country in the world, according to the world happiness report from 2023. (United Nations, 2023)
Finland is called the happiest country in the world not because of its scientific advancements or organisational productivity but because of its values. (Bisma, 2023).
The reason for the countries happiness lies directly in its values which teach them to be more affectionate, trustful and kind or simply smile more.
