Hey All,
I Finally Completed the 4 designs for all the 3 brands, and no one is more relieved than me.
So, I assigned one week per brand to work on the designs, and a couple goals per design.
To begin with the first week, it was finally time to play around with Tesla’s HMI which started with me collecting references from all over the place, be it the never-ending YouTube reviews or my neighbor’s cars (I was just very lucky here), managed to complete it by the end of the week and got some friends to give some feedback.
The second week was BYD TIME, again started with collecting references from all over the place, took me a while to crack this one but in the end it all came together.
The third week was very cramped since I had to design both the Polestar HMI as well as the Polestar App, but trusting yourself goes a long way innit, focusing on one thing at a time is the way to go. With the HMI, I started by collecting references and went right into designing but for the app which I somehow, managed to design it in 24 hours was really challenging, I dug in the good old App Store and Play Store reviews and got insights for the old Polestar 2 Digital Key App which inspired some good ideas such as combining a digital key with more useful features like a route planner and news section and that resulted in the design I made, Hence, concluded the 3 weeks of intense locking in.
